The Australian Medicinal Cannabis Course was developed in 2016 by Associate Professor David Caldicott, in conjunction with the Australian National University and United In Compassion. It has been designed to provide health care practitioners with an evidence based educational package to introduce them to the basics of the endocannabinoid system, and how it can be manipulated for medicinal benefit.
ACT Health is hosting this course for health practitioners in association with key stakeholders; Capital Health Network (ACT PHN), Pharmaceutical Society of Australia - ACT Branch, The Pharmacy Guild of Australia - ACT Branch and the Society of Hospital Pharmacists of Australia - ACT Branch.
