A wonderful opportunity to join a long-established dynamic team of health professionals comprised of general practitioners, psychiatrist, registered nurses, and psychologists working in a university setting caring for university students of all ages (domestic and international), university staff and the families of students and staff. The university of Canberra Medical & Counselling Centre is open all year around and is a busy Centre.
We offer flexible hours – both full time and part time hours are available; on-site undercover parking; no weekend work and the Centre is closed on public holidays; doctors receive 100% of earnings minus a minimal licence fee; high level nursing support; working as part of a multi-disciplinary team in an inclusive and culturally diverse community.
The Medical & Counselling Centre at the University of Canberra caters for a broad range of interests including maternal and child health, sports medicine, travel medicine, sexual health, dermatology, and minor procedures.
Practice Description
Situated on the University of Canberra campus in Bruce, the Medical & Counselling Centre is an AGPAL accredited friendly supportive fully computerised (Best Practice) and well-resourced general practice. There are nine medical practitioner consulting rooms, a Treatment Room which is staffed by two registered nurses, and a dedicated procedure room.
The Centre is open Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays) between 9am and 5pm. General practitioners can work flexible hours and days.
