Position Description

We are looking for an experienced, compassionate and enthusiastic registered nurse to join our new medical practice in Bruce.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about primary care and is able to work across the full range of general practice activities.

Duties include:

• Immunisations
• Wound management
• Ear syringing
• Chronic disease management
• Assistance in minor procedures
• IV iron infusions
• and Mirena insertions amongst others.
• Managing recall and reminder lists
• Clinical data management
• Maintaining medical supplies
• Maintaining accreditation compliance standards.

We are looking for someone who can demonstrate good teamwork, organisational and time management skills, good communication skills and dedication to outstanding patient care.

• Experience with Best Practice software is desirable but not essential since training and induction will be provided.
• 2-3 years+ General Practice experience is desirable but not essential.
• Must have current unconditional registration with AHPRA, CPR training done in the last 2 years, police clearance checks, working with children certificate.
• The role is five days per week – both full time and part time work welcome.

Practice Description

The practice is brand new with spacious consultation rooms and modern facilities.

It is a family practice run by a group of doctors.

We are working toward practice accreditation.

We are open Monday to Saturday. Weekend work is not essential.
