Job Opportunity: Medical Receptionist

Waramanga Medical Centre

Hours: 20-25 hours per week

Pay Rate: $30-34 per hour

Join our team at Waramanga Medical Centre, where patient care excellence is our top priority. We’re looking for an enthusiastic Medical Receptionist to provide exceptional customer service to our patients and administrative support to our healthcare professionals. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Greeting patients and their families warmly
• Coordinating appointments efficiently
• Accurate data entry using best practice software
• Managing documents, including filing and scanning
• Handling payments and managing correspondence
• Assisting with general office tasks and light cleaning
• Setting up office for doctors

Selection Criteria:

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following criteria:

• Previous experience in medical reception preferred
• Familiarity with best practice software is advantageous
• Excellent telephone etiquette and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
• Outstanding communication skills
• Reliable transportation and flexibility in scheduling
• Ability to empathize with patients
• Full working rights in Australia 
• Efficient and confidential management of all patient data, appointments, procedures, clinical files, correspondence and accounts
