The CHN Board called for nominations for the following Board Director positions:
a) Elected Director position (B2)
This Director position requires someone with Primary Health Care Clinician Skills, who has demonstrated ability to contribute to the Board’s strategic thinking, provide strong leadership acting with integrity and high ethical standards on the Board as well as possess appropriate governance qualifications is also essential.
b) Elected Director position (B3)
This Director position requires someone with demonstrated ability to contribute to the Board’s strategic thinking, provide strong leadership acting with integrity and high ethical standards on the Board as well as possess appropriate governance qualifications is also essential.
1. Nominations
At the close of nominations at 5:00pm Friday 29 July 2022, CHN had received one valid nomination for the position of Elected Director B2 and one valid nomination for the position of Elected Director B3.
A ballot will be held for the members to determine the election of a nominee for the B2 director position and a nominee for the B3 director position to fill the vacancies, in accordance with procedures as determined by the Board of CHN in accordance with the company constitution, that is to say that each member may cast one vote for B2 and cast one vote for B3.
2. Endorsed Candidates
In accordance with clause 11.13.5(b) of the CHN Constitution, the Nominations Committee have determined which of the nominees are Endorsed Candidates, with respect to the Skills Matrix, the current composition of the Board and the requirements for the Elected Director positions, B2 and B3. The list of Endorsed Candidates is the Nominations Committee recommendation to the Members but is advisory only and is not binding upon any person.

3. How to vote
Each member of CHN has one vote and voting will occur by ballot. Voting opens today, Monday 29 August 2022 and closes at 5:00pm on Thursday 13 October 2022. The results of the ballot will be declared on Thursday 27 October 2022.
Eligible ballots are those which are completed by the following means:
- Using the Ballot Form
- Are submitted by an eligible member
- Are submitted within the period of voting and by the following methods:

The election to the positions of Elected Directors will be determined by the candidate who receives the greater number of votes of eligible members for each the B2 and B3 positions within the period of voting.
