Closing the Gap PBS Co-payment Program (CTG Scripts)

The Closing the Gap PBS Co-payment Program, commonly referred to as ‘CTG Scripts’, is a program to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people’s health by providing free or low-cost medicines to those who have, or who are at-risk of developing, chronic disease.

Changes to this program will come into effect on 1 July 2021 and will make it easier for patients to obtain these CTG scripts.

How to access CTG Scripts

When you next visit your GP, clinic, or pharmacy, ask them to check if you are eligible and registered for the program. Your GP can register you for the program, with your consent. Once you are registered, all PBS prescriptions you receive will be covered by the program.
