About the role

Family First General Practice is seeking a dedicated and experienced Vocationally Registered General Practitioner (VR GP) to join our friendly and supportive medical team in Canberra, ACT. This is a full-time or part-time opportunity for a GP looking to make a positive impact on the health and wellbeing of the local community.

What you’ll be doing

1. Providing comprehensive, high-quality and patient-centered general practice services
2. Assessing, diagnosing and treating a wide range of medical conditions
3. Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients
4. Collaborating with allied health professionals and specialists to ensure coordinated care
5. Maintaining detailed and accurate patient records
6. Actively participating in continuing medical education and professional development
7. Supporting the practice’s quality improvement and clinical governance initiatives

What we’re looking for

1. Fully registered and Vocationally Registered General Practitioner (FRACGP or equivalent)
2. Minimum 1 year experience as a General Practitioner
3. Demonstrated expertise in managing a diverse range of medical conditions
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with patients
5. Commitment to delivering high-quality, evidence-based and patient-centered care
6. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
7. Proficient in the use of medical software and technology
