Registered Nurse (RN) – Part time/casual/Permanent Position ( 20-25 hrs/week)

About the Role
Waramanga Medical Centre is seeking a motivated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our friendly general practice team on  This role is ideal for an RN looking for flexible work 1–2 days per week (approximately 20-25 hours) negotiable .

Key Responsibilities

• Providing high-quality patient care in a general practice setting
• Assisting with procedures, wound care, and immunisations
• Chronic disease management and health assessments
• Maintaining accurate clinical records
• Supporting GPs and working collaboratively with the team

Criteria 

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• Previous experience in general practice
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable, organised, and patient-focused

Practice Description

Waramanga Medical Centre is one of the oldest medical centre on Inner South side of Canberra . We currently have 8 part-time doctors along with 2 nurses who have been working with us for last 8 years  .Unfortunately one of our nurse is reducing her work due to personal reasons. Therefore we are looking for another RN to join our time.

Please note we do not sponsor visa

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification
• Current registration with Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (for Australia)
• Valid practicing certificate
• Current CPR/BLS certification (ACLS desirable depending on role)
• Previous experience working at General Practice desirable

Practice nurses and or other allied health professionals onsite
