QuIK Cycle – Develop a Quality Improvement Activity

A QuIK Cycle is our way of developing QI activities, based on the Plan-Do-Study-Act (PDSA) framework.

Your practice can opt in to develop a QuIK Cycle with the support of the QI team that can be used towards the practice’s RACGP accreditation requirements for quality improvement, as well as health professionals’ personal CPD.

QuIK Review – Explore quarterly practice data reports

QuIK Reviews are individualised practice data reports that help to guide practices with data available in POLAR and suggest how to apply the data through QI activities. ACT general practices who share deidentified data with CHN as part of the Practice Incentive Program – Quality Improvement (PIP QI) have personalised QuIK Reviews sent on a quarterly basis.

Browse our topic resource packages below to guide you through your next QI activity at your own pace based on recent QuIK reviews.

Based on the data in your QuIK Reviews, practices may wish to run a QuIK Cycle focusing on a topic of interest to make improvements that lead to better outcomes for patients. If you need help understanding how your data was pulled from POLAR, book a QuIK Skills training session.

QuIK Skills – POLAR Support Sessions

QuIK Skills are practice support sessions to teach you how to better access and utilise your data through POLAR. POLAR is a business intelligence tool that uses data from practice software to support QI and business development. ACT general practices who share deidentified data with CHN can access POLAR at no cost.

We offer training anytime, anywhere for your practice team.
