The CHN Board called for nominations for the following Board Director positions:

Elected Director position (E1)

This Director position requires someone with General Practitioner skills, who has demonstrated ability to contribute to the Board’s strategic thinking, provide strong leadership acting with integrity and high ethical standards on the Board as well as possess appropriate governance qualifications is also essential.

Elected Director position (E3)

This Director position is a Consumer which is defined as a natural person who is suitably skilled and experienced in advocating for and representing the interests of consumers of Primary Health Care services and requires a person who has demonstrated ability to contribute to the Board’s strategic thinking, provide strong leadership acting with integrity and high ethical standards on the Board as well as possess appropriate governance qualifications is also essential.

At the close of nominations at 5:00pm Wednesday 19 August 2026, CHN had received 2 valid nominations for the position of Elected Director E1 and 3 valid nominations for the position of Elected Director E3. By clicking the names of the candidates below, you will find a candidate support statement from each, detailing their qualifications and experience for the position as well as a Statement Addressing the Position Requirements.

A ballot will be held for the members to determine the election of a nominee for the E1 director position and a nominee for the E3 director position to fill the vacancies, in accordance with procedures as determined by the Board of CHN in accordance with the company constitution, that is to say that each member may cast one vote for E1 and cast one vote for E3.

Each member of CHN has one vote and voting will occur by ballot. Voting opens on Wednesday 16 September 2026 and closes at 5:00pm on Thursday 15 October 2026. The results of the ballot will be declared on Thursday 29 October 2026.

Eligible ballots are those which are completed by the following means:

• Using the Ballot Form;
• Are submitted by an eligible member;
• Are submitted within the period of voting and by the following methods:

The election to the positions of Elected Directors will be determined by the candidate who receives the greater number of votes of eligible members for each the E1 and E3 positions within the period of voting.
