CHN is proud to be supporting local general practices, pharmacies and community organisations to deliver COVID-19 vaccinations to at-risk and vulnerable populations. Providers are designing and implementing innovative local solutions to support individuals who may be having difficulty accessing COVID-19 vaccines, such as those experiencing homelessness, people with a disability, children with complex needs and those who are not eligible for Medicare.
To promote and deliver COVID-19 vaccinations to Canberra’s at-risk and vulnerable population, CHN through the Department of Health and Aged Care has commissioned:
Women’s Health Matters (WHM)
Women’s Health Matters is developing high-quality, tailored communications materials to support and inform local vaccination efforts. Using the insights and best practices built through WHM’s bilingual health educators and delivery of health information and education sessions directly to migrant and refugee communities, these materials will be developed in easy English, as well as designed and translated into priority community languages.
