Join Our Supportive, Collegial Team – VR GP Opportunity at Fisher Family Practice
Are you a VR GP who values high-quality, patient-centred care and wants to be part of a team that genuinely enjoys working together?
At Fisher Family Practice, we’re looking for a GP who takes pride in clinical excellence, enjoys the support of a collegiate team, and wants to work in an environment designed to make your job easier — and more rewarding.
We’re a mixed billing practice located in the Weston Creek area of Canberra, with a strong reputation for holistic, thorough care across all age groups. Our GPs enjoy varied clinical presentations ranging from children’s health to chronic disease management and mental health. There is high patient demand, so you can be confident your books will be full.
Here’s what we offer:
- A strong support structure with experienced nurses and admin staff
- Pathology on-site
- A growing suite of allied health support, including a social worker through a pilot program to assist with complex care
- A focus on quality over quantity, supported by clear policies and processes
- Flexible working hours and autonomy in how you manage your day
We’re after someone who wants to contribute to a vibrant, caring workplace where we back each other up and put patients first.
Not sure yet? You’re welcome to try a two-week stint with us to get a feel for the team, the patients, and the way we work — no pressure.
If that sounds like your kind of place — let’s chat. Write us a quick email to kgibson@fisherpractice.com.au and we will get back to you.
