Position Description
- You’ll be primarily seeing patients for standard or long consultations. According to your preference, you may or may not be involved with procedures that require either just the GP or some form of assistance with the nurse
- Our GP’s provide services to DVA and worker’s compensation claimants at their discretion
- Work in a low-pressure, family-owned practice
- Choose when you work with flexible working hours anytime from 8:00am – 6:00pm on weekdays, 9:00am – 2:00pm on weekends.
- Work with highly experienced doctors that have been in the field for 15+ years.

Practice Description
We are a family run medical centre consisting of GPs, registered nurses, allied health and reception/support staff. We have established a friendly working culture and pride ourselves on providing outstanding care not only to our local area, but to the Canberra community and surrounds. We currently have 2 other GPs that are available to provide support with any difficulties you may experience. Our patient demographic is wide and varied, reaching multiple suburbs, schools and work places. New patients to the clinic are common, consequently we are looking to hire a new GP to accommodate a high demand of patients. Growing an established and consistent patient base within a few months of working here is easily achievable.

Negotiable pay up to 70% of private billlings and an open contract. Our standard fee for MBS item number 23 is $98 (increased to $100 on Saturday and $110 on Sunday). We can also offer an initial salary as opposed to percentage for a transitional period if that is preferred. The contract is open and negotiable.Willing to sponsor suitable overseas applicants
