Position Description
- You will primarily be seeing patients for standard or long consultations (Item no. 23/36)
- According to your preference and qualifications, you may be involved with procedures that require attendance by just a GP or with some form of assistance with a nurse
- Our GP’s provide services to DVA and worker’s compensation claimants up to their discretion
- Work in a low-pressure, family-owned practice
- Choose when you work with flexible working hours anytime from 8:00am – 6:00pm on weekdays, 9:00am – 2:00pm on weekends
- Work with highly experienced doctors that have been in the medical field for 15+ years

Practice Description
We are a family run medical centre consisting of GPs, registered nurses, allied health and reception/support staff. We have established a friendly working culture and pride ourselves on providing outstanding care not only to our local area, but to the Canberra community and surrounds. We have 2 full time and 2 part time doctors that are currently working at our practice. Our patient demographic is wide and varied, reaching multiple suburbs, schools and workplaces. New patients to the clinic are common, as such we are looking to hire a new GP to accommodate a high demand of patients. Growing a regular patient base within a few months of working here is easily achievable.

70% of all private billings under the doctor's name. A standard consultation (item no. 23) is $95, increased on weekends. Various other services that require minimal attendance by the doctor, such as vaccinations given by the nurse, are also billed under the treating doctor. We can also offer an initial salary for the period of the first 4-6 months if that is preferred over a percentage.Willing to sponsor suitable overseas applicants
